Anne F. Leer is an attorney at Emswiller, Williams, Noland & Clarke, LLC, where she focuses her practice in family law and estate planning. Born and raised in Indiana, Anne is deeply committed to serving her local community, eager to give back the same support and opportunities she received to those around her. Anne earned her undergraduate degrees from Purdue University, where she obtained dual degrees with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society. During her time at Purdue University, Anne participated as a peer mentor in programs through the College of Health and Human Sciences, served as a freshmen orientation leader, held cabinet positions in her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, and was a teaching assistant for the College of Sociology.  

Anne went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During her law school career, she participated in the Child Advocacy Clinic, where she was a volunteer Guardian ad Litem and Court Appointed Special Advocate through Kids’ Voice of Indiana. She also partook in the Re-Entry Assistance and Community Help Clinic (REACH), where she was a mentor-advocate for federal probationers re-entering society following release from incarceration. Through her work with the REACH Clinic, Anne also provided community outreach for individuals facing criminal convictions in underprivileged areas. In addition to her clinic work, Anne also engaged in the Women’s Caucus, Criminal Law Association, and volunteered with Indiana Legal Services. Anne was awarded a Pro Bono certificate for completing over 100 hours of pro bono efforts during her three years at IU McKinney.  

Anne primarily focuses her practice in family law and estate planning, including Guardian ad Litem services. Alongside her practice, Anne continues to volunteer with Kids’ Voice of Indiana as a Guardian ad Litem to advocate for the best interests of children across the state. 

In her spare time, Anne enjoys relaxing with her family and friends, playing with her cat, Dory, traveling, baking, and finding local spots to listen to live music.
